It’s a dream project of our Hon’ble Managing Director Mr. Tanvirul Islam Sohan with a vision of reducing nutrition deficiency especially among children & women. Jahan Food & Agro (Pvt.) Ltd. aims to produce best quality Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK) & Nutrition Rice (Pusti Chal )in Bangladesh.
Rice can be made more nutritious by adding vitamins, minerals and other nutrients to replenish micronutrients lost in the milling process and reinforce its nutritional value.
Fortified rice kernels look, taste and cook like ordinary rice but are enhanced with six essential vitamins and minerals. Rice kernels can be fortified with several micronutrients, such as iron, folic acid and other B-complex vitamins, vitamin A and zinc.
We have Skilled manpower, Technological support, proper supply chain, availability of fund etc. Moreover, we observed that there is a huge scope to work in the commercial market and introduce fortified rice among wider population. We have already purchased fortified rice machine from China. Except fortified rice, we can easily produce some exceptional food products from this machine such as Noodles, Pasta, Corn flex, Corn flour.
